“The roof area was 8,500m2 and had seven valley gutters each of which would have required access from ground level off either a scaffold tower or MEWP. The latter wouldn’t really have been appropriate for health and safety reasons. The claim related to alleged storm damage and in consequence the whole roof needed to be reviewed to ascertain the extent of potential insurance liability.

Production of the Ortho Mosaic Map of the area, which enabled detailed close-up inspection to be carried out as a desktop survey. The net result was a claim originally estimated by the Insured in the region of £280,000 being settled for £30,000. In addition, the costs incurred in completing the survey were substantially less than if I had to carry out the survey myself and a more detailed record of the roof condition was obtained.”

I used the Operational Manual Renewal Service provided by Iprosurv for my operational Authorisation and have to say it was a 5 star service from start to finish. PfCO to GVC Conversion, having been a drone pilot for 9 years and having a successful business in media production, I was using my old PfCO and became aware I needed to change before 2024.

I researched a lot of companies before choosing Iprosurv, their website was informative and the course with its easy-to-use learning journey and personal student portal is ideal, did my Pfco to GVC conversion with free A2CofC all done in 3 days, with great service and learning platform.
