- A2 CofC: weather, aircraft performance and reducing risks to people on the ground.
- GVC: air law, aircraft knowledge, human performance, weather and operational procedures.

Your renewal questions
Can I renew a certificate issued by another provider?
Speak to us with a copy of your existing certificate and its expiry date. We will check the certificate and confirm whether we can accept you onto the appropriate route before you book.
My certificate has expired. Which option should I buy?
Contact the training team first. An expired certificate may need a different training or assessment route from an in-date certificate. We will review your circumstances before recommending a purchase.
Can I complete everything online?
Online learning and theory assessment arrangements are available where appropriate. GVC practical-assessment requirements depend on the applicable route and the evidence we can accept. Do not assume that every renewal can be completed entirely online.
What equipment do I need for an online assessment?
Follow the assessment instructions supplied with your booking. The team will confirm the device, internet connection, identification and invigilation arrangements you need before your exam. Accessing learning on a phone does not necessarily make it suitable for the final assessment.
What if I do not pass an assessment?
Speak to the training team about the next steps. Additional training or another assessment may be required. We will explain the applicable arrangements and any further fees; an unlimited or free resit is not promised by this listing.
Does renewing my GVC renew my Operational Authorisation?
No. Your pilot qualification and the operator’s Operational Authorisation are separate. Check the certificate requirements and validity of the authorisation under which you intend to fly.
How much does my renewal cost?

No. Learning confirmation tests help you prepare and identify knowledge gaps. You must still complete the formal assessment and any evidence or practical checks required for your renewal route.
How should I prepare for my assessment?
Check your certificate and expiry date, gather the requested documents, work through your revision material and use the learning checks. Read your assessment instructions and raise any questions with the training team before the appointment.
How do I access the preparation material?
After booking, the team will provide the access information and instructions for your renewal route. Check the email address used for your order and contact us if you need help accessing the learning portal.
Can I renew both qualifications together?
Choose the combined option if you hold both certificates and want to renew them together. Eligibility is checked for each qualification. The combined price saves £47.99 including VAT compared with purchasing the two advertised renewal options separately.
Does the price include a practical flight assessment or a free resit?
The advertised renewal price must not be taken as a promise of additional practical training, an extra flight assessment or free resits. If another assessment or training is needed, the team will explain the arrangements and any additional charge before it is booked.
