I recently completed the GVC Drone Training course with Iprosurv, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of exceptional from start to finish. The application process was streamlined and user-friendly, making it easy to get started right away.
The highlight of the course for me was undoubtedly the hands-on flight practice. The opportunities to fly the drones were plentiful, which was crucial for gaining real-life flying experience and confidence. The course was structured in a way that made learning new skills engaging and intuitive, with each session building on the last.
The instructors were knowledgeable and passionate, providing insights that only true experts could offer. They ensured that each participant understood the course material and were proficient in practical skills before moving forward.

“The roof area was 8,500m2 and had seven valley gutters each of which would have required access from ground level off either a scaffold tower or MEWP. The latter wouldn’t really have been appropriate for health and safety reasons. The claim related to alleged storm damage and in consequence the whole roof needed to be reviewed to ascertain the extent of potential insurance liability.

PfCO to GVC Conversion, having been a drone pilot for 9 years and having a successful business in media production, I was using my old PfCO and became aware I needed to change before 2024.
I researched a lot of companies before choosing Iprosurv, their website was informative and the course with its easy-to-use learning journey and personal student portal is ideal, did my Pfco to GVC conversion with free A2CofC all done in 3 days, with great service and learning platform.
I have had my first encounter with drone technology in our business as Loss Adjusters, I can assure you this is not a case of hundreds of images to scroll through and format into a report.
We engaged with Iprosurv on a major fire loss of a warehouse, due to safety the building had to be demolished at the earliest opportunity, which would have left very little time to gather data to evaluate the claim.
We engaged with Iprosurv who advised us that a digital twin of the property would be best in this case serving a snapshot in time of the property that can be interrogated from desktop in a 3D environment.
Further to this the user would have the ability to produce a white-labeled report with minimum input incorporating notes images and other information that would be of use.
We had the data within 72hrs and the output was truly mind-blowing, the image quality the way we could interrogate and the report was something we have never come across before.
This is not just an enhanced survey, this is a game changer in your business offering.
We had previously had drones within our business utilising our own workforce and obtaining our own permissions with the Civil Aviation Authority.
It became very apparent, very early on that maintaining internal drone operations is not an easy task, and we quickly ran into difficulty for business use cases, deployment, legislation, training, and compliance, it’s not as simple as buying a couple of drones.
One of our partners Introduced us to Iprosurv who quickly identified the problems we were having.
We arranged for Iprosurv to consult with us and this was the turning point, from an external point of view and having thorough industry knowledge they were able to complete a complete business gap analysis to identify where we could extract the most use from drone capabilities, organise training, develop a regime for compliance and legislation, in fact, everything we needed to incorporate drone technology into our business.
